Do not expect only a book related approach: our art history courses in Florence include also lessons organized directly in the museums, churches and historical places of the city, in order to give you the opportunity to approach the topics studied first hand, with your eyes right on the masterpieces you would like to know more.
The program of our art history courses covers from Ancient times to Modern Art, in order to facilitate your study and understanding of the great artistic period of the Florentine Renaissance, represented by some of the most important artists of the world.
However, the program of our courses can be completely customizable, according to your wishes and needs.
The artists and their works will not be studied as self-standing: in our courses you will also learn about their lifestyles and philosophy, including anecdotes on their life events and artistic characteristics.
Together with your teacher you will be able to analyze the cultural, social and economical context of the period, in order to better perceive the atmosphere in which the artists operated and the development of their way of thinking.

Our art history courses are scheduled 3 days per week, from 9am to 12pm OR from 2pm to 5pm.
Small group courses start every Monday of the month.
